Intermediate Bearded




PAN FOR GOLD EM  22" This plant forms attractive bright yellow clumps which call you from across the garden yet has interesting details which keeps you looking when you get close. Miniature Tall Bearded


ERAMOSA FRECKLES  M 21" An interesting plicata with light tan rim on standards with violet tan plicata dots in centre. Falls have plicata dots on white ground, getting heavier towards rim until almost a solid colour. Light yellow beard.  A charming and interesting plant. ERAMOSA CLOUD DRIFTER ‘09 M-L 20" A very delicately marked light violet stitching on white ground. I have been crossing seedlings from I. Variegata regina together trying to get the stitching on the standards, as well as on the falls, as in so many MTB cultivars. This has the stitching in a very delicate colour. Flower nicer then photo, gorgeous in clump. Although a bit on short side, this plant has 10-12 flowers on two branches and spur. Most sockets have 2-3 flowers and terminal often has 4. It remains in bloom for a long time. Parentage lost, but involves a number of seedlings with I.variegata regina in parentage ...............................$10.00

Border Bearded

Tall Bearded



BUCKSKIN BABE L 38" A very tall imposing plant with superb branching and excellent bud count. Large flowers to go with its imposing height. It has a long bloom season and outstanding performance in cold climates. A dusty light orange with a rosy-violet blush and wash on falls. ERAMOSA  BLUSHING BRIDE `05 ML 33" A difficult colour to describe. It is basically a light pink with a silvery blue wash that is darker at hafts and shoulders. Intense wide coral beard adds a lot of personality to this flower. Very strong substance, good branching and bud count. Excellent grower and performer in cold climate areas. ERAMOSA RIDGE ’09 M 42" Excellent bud count and branching on this super hardy plicata. There are a lot of people complaining about plicatas that are tender and rot easily. Complain no more. Not only is this plant hardy, it increases rapidly, and would appear to have a bad taste for iris borers. Standards are near solid royal-purple, and falls have a wide rim of royal-purple. With some doting and streaking inside white centre. Violet-purple beards. Being heavily used in plicata breeding to work towards hardy luminatas and glaciatas. parentage unknown .....$24.00

FRONTIER LADY `01 EM 34" A very intriguing and distinctive colour combination. White flower with falls heavily veined and washed  greenish yellow with coral lines on shoulders and down the centre of the falls. Bright coral beard. GARDEN BRIDE `98 ML 37" This white performs well year after year even in cold climates. Very ruffled clean white self with eight buds & a  long bloom season. TWILIGHT CLOUD `00 EM 37" Reminiscence of fluffy white clouds drifting through an early evening sky. Pastel light violet standards. Falls mid violet blending to pastel light violet around beard. Beard is mix of yellow, light lilac and violet. Species Cross


CAST ASHORE `98 ML 30" ML. Collected plant from the Georgian Bay Ontario. It has proven to be very hardy, vigorous and is fertile. Does well in cold and hot  climates. The flowers are larger and the plant taller than Iris versicolor (blue flag). White with violet blue lines and a bright yellow signal at the centre of the falls. A natural cross of VERSICOLOR and VIRGINICA... .....................................$7.00
